New Crossflow 711 Tall Cylinder Block

The tall block specifications are as follows:- Standard 8.200″ deck height with extra material for decking, cylinder bores semi finished to 3.185″-3.187″ diameter to allow the engine to be built to desired clearances. Max bore sizeis 3.226″ or 81.94mm, the lifter bore diameter is .5145″-.5155″. The block itself is cast from 40,000 psi grey iron, with the lower clutch housing bolt bosses reinforced. Select areas around the main bearing webs have been strengthened, and the centre main will accept upper and lower crankshaft thrust bearing inserts.
