Please note that as sometimes the old racks are not returned – we may ask for your old rack prior to sending out a new rack. |

The plus 2 and standard elan racks are different.
The plus 2 rack has 6 teeth and is slower and has up to 3.5 turns lock to lock.
The standard Elan rack has 7 teeth and is a higher ratio, it is quicker and has only just over 2 turns lock to lock.
Plus 2 racks are stamped 6 and Standard elan racks are stamped 7.

NOTE The racks use some old parts. the basic replacement rack uses old tie rods and the original case. all other parts are new.
NOTE if you require new tie rods included in your rack please state this clearly. The extra cost is £180.00 per rack.
