| Description | Left hand drive streering rack.
Steering racks supplied on an exchange basis with a surcharge of £95.00. right hand drive Code …………….. and +2 racks code…………….also available. Note +2 racks are wider and require extension and have different lock stops.
Please note as old racks are sometimes not returned – we may request supply of your rack prior to supplying the new rack.

The Plus 2 racks have 7 toothed operation. This makes them smoother and slower with as much as 3.5 turns lock to lock.
The standard smaller Elan racks have 6 teeth and therefore we have quicker and higher ratio rack, just over 2 turns lock to lock. Ideal for racing cars.
If you have a specific ratio or lock to lock requirement please contact us.
Racks are stamped 6 or 7.
NOTE The racks use some old parts. the basic replacement rack uses old tie rods and the original case. all other parts are new.
NOTE if you require new tie rods included in your rack please state this clearly. The extra cost is £120.00 per rack.
