2000E Magnesium Gearbox Case.

A good weight saving over the original part – saving of 4.9Kgs. Weight is 2.5Kg

Fitted with special screw in heavy duty Layshaft support bushes to eliminate any chance of the holes elongating in the case and causing gearbox failure.

Kelsport Magnesium castings are tested

1) With test bars of material to ensure BS standards for tensile strength.

2) Chemical analysis using a mass spectrometer.

3) A die penetrant test and if required X ray testing to check density.
