Gear Kit 2.5 Helical Cut Close Ratio

Description

This is a brand new gear set.

It is Helical cut and is the bullit 2.5 set of ratios.

It is a synchromesh box and steel synchro rings can be used.

With steel synchro rings you have the best helical cut box available.

It is also FIA compliant.

Note, the 2nd and 3rd gear teeth are machined in opposing directions to reduce gear case pressures.

Ratios are as follows:-

First: 2.5:1

Second: 1.66:1

Third: 1.22:1

Fourth: 1:1

It is NOT straight cut and it is NOT a dog box (DOG engagement is NOT FIA compliant).

NOTE these gear kits are new and are machined within the expected tolerances, they may not always fit perfectly with used parts or new parts from other suppliers and may offer a tight fit. In our experience tightness and noise will be remedied after 50 or so driving miles.
