The layshaft sits inside steel inserts to retain perfect fit and avoid wear and tear. Fits 26R, Lotus Cortina and other Elans. Also available 2000E Gearbox top cover (Part number – RACEGB30). Made from LM25TF heat treated aluminium alloy. Tensile strength for our castings is 310 Note LM25 is 185 and LM6 is 200 Also available in Steel and Magnesium.
